This book tells the story of an innocent nine year old girl named June Bug. "Home" is their rickety trailer her dad keeps needing new parts for. As she gets older, June bug begins to wonder why they move around so much, never staying in one place for more than a couple days. |
One day, when they park at a Walmart for new trailer parts, June Bug walks into the store to look around. When she looks at the posters of missing and kidnapped children, she is shocked to find her picture on the list. Slowly, the story of who she really is begins to unravel, and there are more twists than meets the eye. I liked this book a lot, because it surprised me so many times, and i didn't see what was coming till the very end. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes mystery, suspense, and a tough main character.
