Human.4
It was a normal day in a small toen in England, and time for the villages annual talent show on the town green. Danny had been practicing for weeks his talent of hypnotism and when the talent show comes around, no one volunteers except for two of Dannys friends and two other people from the town. As they come out of their state of hypnosis, they realize everyone is frozen. When they become unfrozen, it leaves them looking for answers. they overhear their parents talking about them being 0 .4 and set out to look for answers. in the end they find out it was a software update for all of humanity and the rest of humanity is now 1.0, leaving them obsolete to the rest of mankind.

Tiger's Voyage
Kelsey is heartbroken. Ever since they rescued Ren from Lokesh he has no idea who Kelsey is or the things they did together, it is like there anything Kelsey related was wiped clean from his memory. Luckily though, to distract her from this Kelsey, Ren, Kishan, and Mr. Kadam set off again on another adventure trying to break the curse put on the boys thousands of years ago, a curse that transformed them into tigers.
Not only do they have to be careful of Lokesh and his followers, but they also have to face seven dragons to break the curse and not all of them are friendly. So they set out, ready to face what lies ahead of them. Taking a yacht to the seven pagodas, they battle krakens, killer sharks and other mythical creatures but it is hard for Kelsey when her heart is torn apart.
A fascinating read that mixes legend with modern day. Colleen Houck creates a tale dripping with Indian culture and myth. I really liked this book but I could have done without the love triangle but that's just me. It was a lot if fun reading about all the food and customs in India today. I definetly will reccomend the Tiger's Curse Series to my friends!
The Agency 2: The Body at the Tower
Mary Quinn is just your average girl in Victorian London, not a threat to anyone in particular, her being a woman....which is what makes her such a perfect spy. Mary works for an all female spy organization called the Agency. Quick witted and no stranger to lower class life, Mary is sent to the Tower of London after a body was found at the building site. But this time she goes disguised as Mark Quinn, a twelve year old boy, to try and unravel the mystery.
However, not everything goes as planned when she runs into an old acquaintance on the building site, James Easton, a young engineer, one who had helped her on another case actually. With her cover almost blown, she has no choice but to accept his help in disentangling this conundrum. Though solving a case is a lot more challenging when dealing with a man like Mr. James Easton.
I believe that this follow up in The Agency series is even better than the first! Y. S. Lee vividly recreates the world of London, England in the 1850s. I felt like I took a step back in time and was there with Mary herself solving puzzles. A well crafted mystery, with just enough to keep you guessing who did it.

Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy
Can you guess who wrote this book? That's right, Ally Carter is back once again with her sequel to I'd Tell You I'd Love You, but Then I'd Have to Kill You. Last semester didn't go so well for Cammie, well, besides the fact that she got her very first boyfriend ever (spoiler alert)...which the government found out about and forced her to end their relationship; which was seen as a threat to public security. Now boyfriend less, Cammie makes herself a promise not to use her spy training for anything but for her Covert Operations class.
All too soon though Cammie is put to the test, when she and her friends find out that there is not only another spy school out there, but it is one for boys. And they are coming to Gallagher Academy to pay a visit. And these very same boys may be just as good or better than the Gallagher Girls. Unable to help herself, Cammie is sucked into cracking the code that is the mysterious Blackthorne Boys, and she's back to trailing, hacking, and bugging. However, will Cammie and her crew be able to solve this enigma?
An excellent sequel written by Ally Carter, that makes me wish that I went to Gallagher Academy and was friends with Cammie Morgan as she crawls through secret passages around the school. A book well worth reading...it just makes me wonder if there really is a school like this in real life?

I'd Tell You I Love You , But Then I'd Have to Kill You
What a title! It is absolutely an attention grabber when looking at all the books on the shelf. The first installment of Ally Carter's Gallagher Girl series is a hilarious look at a Cammie Morgan's life as she falls for the super cute and super sweet boy in her town of Roseville, Virginia. The catch? Cammie goes to a posh boarding school that the people of Roseville believe is just for spoiled little girls who have nowhere else to go. Of course that is what Cammie's school wants them to think, because in reality, the truth is a whole lot messier.
Cammie goes to a school for spies.
Where Cammie and her spies take classes such as Cultures of the World (COW), Protection and Enforcement (P&E), or a history of espionage. Although she is able to speak fourteen different languages and is a certified genius, she has no clue how to speak the language of boy. More than that, a normal boy who thinks that Cammie is a normal girl. Follow Cammie and her friends as the dig through garbage, plant bugs, and hack into his computer trying to make herself into the girl that he thinks she is. This book was so much fun and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see into the life of a teenage super spy.

An Abundance of Katherines
I just found out about all the John Green books, and I like each one better and better. An Abundance of Katherines tells all about Colin, who graduated from college and has been dumped by the 19th time by 19th Katherine. As the book goes on, you begin to understand why Colin only dates girls named Katherine, and how that reflects on who he is as a person.
It starts off just as he and Katherine XIX have just broken up, and to deal with it, he and his best friend decide to go on a road trip. They drive to a rural area in Gutshot, Tennessee, where Colin learns more and more about how to perfect his formula. Being a genius, Colin has decided to create an equation to tell him how his relationship with Katherine is going to turn out, and repeatedly draws graphs and functions describing his relationships.
The whole book shows incredible character maturity and I really enjoyed reading all the unexpected plot twists. I definately recommend it as well as all the other books by John Green!

After Eli
This book deals with a really complicated subject for children: death. In After Eli, Daniel's brother has just been killed in Iraq and as sort of a treatment, Danny has made a book of the dead about different people who have died in various ways. Each chapter begins with the name of a person and the cause of death and Danny begins each chapter by explaining why he put that person in his book and how they relate to Eli. Through the course of the book, he tells us his memories with Eli and during the summer, he uses his two friends, Isabelle and Walter to help him not overcome, but eventually accept his brother's death. This is a very well-written book and I enjoyed it very much.

Chasing Lincoln's Killer
This is one of those books that is assigned to you for school and after the first two or three chapters, you end up loving it. Chasing Lincoln's Killer is a nonfiction book, but it is presented in such a way that it is captivating and factual at the same time.
This book is really about the twelve days after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the lengths that Booth and his cohorts went to in order to stay hidden. They hid in swamps and forests and people's homes, always risking capture. This book always kept me on the edge of my seat.
I really recommend this book because I find very interesting for a nonfiction book, which don't usually draw the "teenage crowd". It seems like fiction and the author shows the information in a way that doesn't seem like an assignment, rather like a fascinating story you're going to want to know about.

What Happened to Goodbye
This book is my favorite Sarah Dessen
book so far. In this book, What Happened to Goodbye, the main
character Mclean has moved four times in the last two years since her
parents got divorced and her mother married the basketball coach of
her father's favorite team. Things in her family have been very tense
and stressful, especially between her and her mother, who now has two
children, Mclean's half-brother and sister.
This new move is the first time Mclean
has really been herself. In the past towns, she's created fake
personalities and names based off of her middle name, Elizabeth. In
one town she was Eliza, the popular cheerleader, in another, Lizbet,
the theatrical, black-clad girl. She never felt like she had to be
herself because she was in one place long enough for people to care
about what was underneath her counterfeit personality.
I really enjoyed this book, as I have
enjoyed all of Sarah Dessen's books, because when she writes it's
such a great literal representation of the teenage life. There are so
many ups and downs that I think most romance/drama novelists choose
to ignore and instead paint the so-called “perfect teen” who's
popular and has no family drama or any problems whatsoever. Sarah
chooses otherwise and embraces these imperfections which makes her
books relatable and very truly memorable.

INSURGENT
Think Hunger Games, or Harry Potter, and this book is hands down just as good. Insurgent is the second installment in the trilogy of the Divergent series, and it definitely became a book that I would suggest for anybody to read-if action, sci-fi, mystery, and dystopian worlds are your kind of book. Insurgent was all about Tris, the main character and heroine of the story, fighting to protect what she loves and believes in, but the storyline is so much deeper than that. There are so many obstacles that Tris Prior, a 16 year old girl whose life will never be the same, has to face in her far from perfect world. One of the best things about the book is that the characters are all so relatable, genuine, and flawed, it is so easy to get sucked in.
All in all, I give it a definite 10 out of 10, especially since the ending left off on such a cliffhanger. I can't wait till it comes out in October!!!
INSURGENT IS A MUST READ AND WARNING-IT IS ADDICTING.
